She finally arrived.. my due date was the 25th so she was early!

I was in labour for the day but dilated really fast, which the midwifes couldn't believe as she is my first baby. Once i was 4cm i was taken up to labour ward and wasn't going to be checked how far i was again till 10.30pm. After just a few hours i was telling them i needed to push but was being told not to as i wouldn't be ready yet, but they did decide to check me then and found the babys head was coming and told me i needed to push! I pushed for about 10-15mins and she was out, all 7lb 10oz of her! Her weight surprises people as she is actually quite tiny so people normally think shes about 6lb. & she was actually weighted again yesterday and has put on weight.. 7lb 12oz now!

It was the craziest most wonderful moment of my life. Being a mum is hard work but i love it so much, my life feels so much better now shes here.

HEY EVERYONE. JUST A REALLY QUICK UPDATE TO LET YOU ALL KNOW IVE HAD MY DAUGHTER, SHE WAS BORN ON THE 23RD. I HAVE ONLY JUST BEEN LET HOME AND AM VERY TIRED BUT WILL BE TRYING TO GET ONTO THE LAPTOP (THANK GOD FOR PHONE INTERENT) TO DO A PROPER UPDATE POST WHEN I FEEL MORE UP TO IT. SO THIS IS JUST TO SAY SORRY FOR LACK OF POSTS AT THE MOMENT! 

Hey Loves.

I've just painted my nails with the ME ME ME nail polish i brought yesterday and wow i love it. I'll be taking a snap and posting along with other reviews. ALSO, i just re-shaped my eyebrows and hopefully will be able to get a good enough picture to show you guys the difference :/ ..  Little lady STILL isn't here, I'm at the point of thinking shes never going to come out! So I've just been relaxing at home and going for lovely walks or mini shopping sprees with the boyfriend. I don't get too far these days & wow is it hard in the heat but I'm still loving the warm weather! & look what we baked the other day ;P

poped into superdrug yesterday, yes i managed to get all the way to the highstreet on the bus! Okay well it is only like 10mins on the bus but still it tired me out ..

I've been wanting to dye my hair for ages but am wanting till after I've given birth so I'll go more into that once i can actually do it.

I've also been a little sad lately at the fact that for a whole 9 months I've only been able to wear flats. Don't get me wrong i love me some flats but i am missing being able to shove on a pair on heels/wedges when i feel like it, sobsob.

I decided to go on a little shopping trip today to see if it would help my labour progress, I'm still having painful contractions but still not baby which is frustrating seeing as my midwife told me she'd be here yesterday! But anyway heres the few things i got..

Hello Kitty hand soap!! I was a little overly excited about this. I got this in the 99p store, they also had Hello Kitty shampoo but I'm very fussy about what i use on my hair and didn't quite trust it.

Oh and ofcourse i had to pick up some snacks for tv time tonight (;

Cocoa butter strech mark cream, I'd ran out and although I'm at the end of my pregnancy really liked this, Natural Collection Candy Mist lipstick, Rimmel Peppermint nail paint & Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara. I always get those vouchers when I'm in boots but never use them, do you guys?

I got these (shampoo & conditioner) because i love the straight (pink) ones Herbal Essences do but as i have naturaly curly/wavy hair i thought i'd give this one a go.

I'm in Labour! + Beauty List

Hey!

I'm now 19 days away from my due date (ignore what the baby date thingy on the side says, that was my first due date) and lots has been happening..

I'm pretty sure my waters broke last night, i suddenly woke up at 2.30am to being soaked by a liquid which stopped by itself (I wasn't pee, we smelt it! haha) & i started getting reeeeally bad cramps which got closer together and more painful. I tried to go back to sleep but found it impossible, then about an hour later it all seemed to stop. The pains weren't so close together anymore and i fell asleep. So this morning i have been getting pain but they're not so close together, strange right? Apparently Labour can start and stop which is fine, as long as your waters haven't broken. I have to see my midwife tomorrow anyway so if the pain doesn't get too bad today I'll wait and ask her. Maybe little lady is on her way?

UPDATE 07/06/11

Went to the hopstial yesterday evening to be checked. I am in labour.. yaaay! Though have been told that although I've started labour its the very start and could take a while, but they dont know how long. Few hours, few days, a week.. who knows. But shes defo on the way (:

PRIMARK

Hey everyone. So i took a little trip to Primark today, i have such a love for primark and always seem to find something i like. Although i didn't find much today.. they did have some really cute dresses which i loved but wasn't sure they'd find my bust and ofcourse i cant try on in my size right now...

I got these really cute sandals in peach (i know they look abit brown in the picture, they're not). I think they're so cute and they have lots of different colours, they were tagged at £6 but actually cost £4.90.

Cute front tie top for the warm weather, i would try it on for you guys but i'd look really stupid right now..  £4

I think i always buy beauty products when im in primark. They're great quality and so cheap.. i did have a look at their makeup but they didn't have much in.

This is actually mens and is for my boyfriend but thought i'd post anyway so its cute and a girl could so wear it! £12

And thats all i got! Other than a little baby spree in primark and a kids shop..
